Just had the best breakfast I’ve ever had at Bakers. Crispy bacon. Home Fries were amazing. Scrambled Eggs that were perfect. Nicely buttered white toast. Kitchen was fast and the waitress was top notch.

Stopped at Baker's diner on the way down to South Carolina, at this time we got BLT'S to go, the sandwich was outstanding, each sandwich had about half a pound of bacon on it, and the sandwiches fed us for lunch and dinner, the inside of the place was extremely clean and had an excellent atmosphere, the staff was very friendly, including one of the owners that we met on this visit. On the way back from South Carolina we stopped here again, this time we went inside the business. I had a Alpine Burger which was excellent, once again the staff was outstanding and friendly the place was extremely clean, and again we met another owner who is extremely pleasant and talk to us for several minutes. Excellent place to stop! Will stop here again anytime we are in the area.

Great roadtrip stop for a quick meal. Service was great, food was good, clean and comfortable atmosphere (also the bathrooms).

Baker's Diner 11-7-24 Stopped in on Thursday at 1pm for lunch. This place was clean, neat, and not full. There were only a couple tables with customers in them. The interior was very nice and laid gave you the feel of an upscale dinner. I loved the showcase filled with all kinds of deserts near the front, so you don't forget them after you eat. Our waitress Nikki came over fast for our drink order, when she came back to deliver our drinks she took our food order. The menu is large, they have specials for each day of the week and daily Senior specials to boot. I believe there is something for everyone on that menu. We both ordered the Open Turkey Sandwich with 1 side and soup or salad. For my side I got mashed potatoes and a salad. My wife's sides were coleslaw and a salad. Nikki brought out our salads very quickly. The salads looked good, and all items looked fresh and tasted great. The salad was bigger than I thought, and it was very good. As soon as we were done with the salads our Turkey Sandwiches came out. They looked amazing, the Turkey, bread and gravy filled the entire plate. It was so good and so tasty. The Mashed potatoes were good, and they seemed to go well with Turkey. My wife loved her Turkey and the coleslaw. I have to say this was a very good dish. The only thing I would have liked is for the dish to be a little hotter. It was not cold but could have been hotter for that 5th star. I can't wait to go back and try something else. You need to go here as prices are reasonable, service is good, and the food is great. I give this place 4 stars out of 5.
